Structure-property relationships are at the center of metallurgical engineering. Altran Solutions has all of the tools and expertise needed to define structure, predict how structure will impact properties, and confirm those predictions with measurements in our laboratory.
In terms of characterizing structure, we are well equipped with all of the needed optical and electron microscopy equipment. Our staff is very experienced with the interpretation of structure in order to predict behavior and provide guidance on materials selection or process development. Finally, we have the mechanical property measurement equipment needed to confirm actual properties to provide additional guidance.
