Safe and reliable operation of piping systems is critical for efficient operation of power plants. Numerous power generating stations are experiencing issues with existing systems that range from identification of new analyzed events to elevated vibration levels that pose risk and undermine safety and reliability.

Altran Solutions Corp has solid track record in design, analysis and reconciliation of power piping systems. Our experience is founded on good understanding of code requirements, evolution, and bases and also on collective several years of hands on project experience of numerous excessive vibration and failure incidents. We perform pipe analysis and qualification to the requirements of ASME Class 1, 2, and 3 and ANSI B31. We provide full support for investigation of transients, thermal stratification, water hammer, cavitation, and over pressurization (GL96-06). In fact, Altran Solutions Corp. developed the EPRI implementation guides for GL 96-06 which were based on extensive analyses and simulated loop tests that we performed in house and were subjected to extensive peer and NRC reviews.
