Performance Management
Establishing appropriate metrics for plant systems and programs is critical to achieving improved plant performance. Such measures range from the process parameters (pressures, temperatures, flows and vibration) associated with a critical plant system to the measures of plant work order execution efficiency. Many such processes can be enhanced by advanced algorithms and data processing methods that help predict emergent equipment malfunction. Others are more associated with improved accountability and communication between operations, maintenance, work control, and engineering staff.
Altran Solutions works closely with an asset management provider whose solution monitors the equipment and systems of power plants before faults or catastrophic events occur. Currently partnered with this asset management provider, Altran personnel have developed models for numerous nuclear plants. What make us unique is that many of the Altran personnel are also previous utility employees. As such, Altran also carries a unique understanding of the plant administrative processes, corrective actions programs, change management programs, and the requirements of day to day business. By combining these two qualities it places Altran in the exclusive position to assist plants with the introduction and integration of this type of technology into the day-to-day operations of the plant. This includes establishing a Change Management Program, integrating this solution into daily processes such as Plant Health Reporting, Corrective Actions, and Administrative Procedures, and supporting modification of existing Asset Models as well as the development of new models to monitor new assets or to monitor existing assets for a specific failure. Only Altran can bring this experience and skills to your facility.
