Development of Coatings Program, Millstone Unit 3
Altran developed a complete protective coatings program that addressed safety-related coatings inside of containment, safety-related coatings in the service water system piping and heat exchangers, and balance of plant coatings. Altran engineers provided technical expertise and engineering support of on-going protective coatings and linings work in these systems. Specific activities included assessing the condition of the coatings and linings, providing task specific instructions for coating materials application, and resolving coating-related problems as they arose.
