Thomas Foley, President - Mr. Foley has twenty years of experience in the execution and management of Engineering, Design and EPCM projects for utility and large industrial clients. He is a registered Professional Engineer in nine states and maintains NCEES certification. As a founding member of the then named Stratus Engineering in 1997, Mr. Foley has overseen the growth of the company including the merger with Altran Corporation in 2007, from a single office with 9 employees into the 200 person, eleven office firm that ranks in the ENR Top 500 Engineering and Design firms for 2008.
Mr. Foley heads Altran Technologies, S.A. technical teams in North America. Altran Technologies, who bought ownership in Altran Solutions in 2002, is a global leader in innovation and technology with revenues of 2 Billion Euro and over 15,000 consultants worldwide. Headquartered in Paris France, it derives over 20% of overall revenues from the Energy Sector.
Christopher Caprio, CFO - Prior to joining Altran Solutions, Mr. Caprio spent two years as the Global Corporate Controller at Modulo Systems. He also spent two years in Boston, MA as an Accounting Manager at Xchange, Inc. Mr. Caprio joined Altran Solutions in 2004 as the World-Wide Corporate Controller. After four years of leading a $50M professional services firm, He was chosen by the Board of Directors of the Americas to lead & create a North American Shared Service organization. This Shared Service organization covers the areas of accounting and finance which now includes four operating companies and fourteen legal entities world-wide (Total of $100M). Mr. Caprio manages a team of ten individuals who create a unified department, and moved all entities onto one accounting platform and a single set of policies and procedures. He has extensive knowledge in managing revenue recognition with numerous types of T&M, Fixed-Price & not-to exceed contracts. He also works directly with the CEO's of all four operating companies to provide financial analysis and timely information, allowing them make key business decisions in diverse environments.
Scot Blodgett, Director of Nuclear - Mr. Blodgett has over seventeen years of Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) experience and is the manager of the FAC department at Altran. He is responsible for project management, successful project implementation, technical direction, and training of team members. Mr. Blodgett is a recognized leader in the industry based on his extensive FAC experience coupled with his excellent understanding of plant systems.
Gene Porzio, Director of Transmission and Distribution - Mr. Porzio has over twenty-five years of diversified experience in the management, engineering and construction of facilities for various commercial, residential, industrial, power generation and government projects.
Robert Hammelmann, Director of Generation - Mr. Hammelmann has 30+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager. He has supervised a wide range of utility engineering projects involving both fossil-fueled and nuclear steam boiler balance-of-plant projects, and has been accountable for design, construction and commissioning of projects.
Stephen Genca, Director of Project Management - Mr. Genca has twenty-seven years experience in mechanical engineering field working as a project manager, lead and support engineer on various projects. Responsibilities included technical supervision and administration of project tasks and/or support engineering role in board mechanical design areas. He has extensive experience in design of piping systems and supports and is very familiar with plant modification requirements. He has a proven track record for completing projects within budget and meeting schedules. He has served as a Project Manager for numerous multi-discipline projects, and includes utility, commercial, and industrial clients such as: • Consolidated Edison of New York • PSEG • USPowerGen • Conectiv Energy • Dynegy • Slattery/Skanska • NYPA • Lucent
Ronald Pacitti, Director of Claims and Construction Management - Mr. Pacitti has 34 years of project experience. He formed Pacitti Group, Inc. in 1989 and Alpha3 Consulting in 2002 to provide expert project management and cost / schedule engineering services to owners and contractors. He is also co-founder of Power Project Management, LLC, a provider of project development and management services to the utility and independent power generation industries. He has managed capital projects in all phases from inception through design, construction, and commissioning. His experience includes the development of project execution planning, construction planning and scheduling, change order review, and contract close out. Mr. Pacitti has been accepted by courts as an expert in construction management, and has developed a project productivity forecasting methodology (P3M). He has served as a court-appointed expert on federal bankruptcy cases for the reconciliation of over 50 projects. Mr. Pacitti has provided insurers with evaluations of progress and cost to complete on $1 billion of at-risk or defaulted contract work in the United States and the United Kingdom.
